Based in the heritage city of Bath our running group is suitable for all abilities with the emphasis on having fun while running.
We have runners who are just starting out their running journey right up to ultra-marathoners. We may not all run at the same speed or cover the longer distances, but that doesn’t matter, our common connection is running.
We offer a variety of group runs, running programmes and one to one coaching sessions - weekdays, evenings and weekends.
Many of our runners are training for specific events such as 5k, 10k, half and full marathons, but we also have runners who compete in triathlons, canicross and ultra-marathons.
Angela MacAusland started Run Bath in 2013 soon after gaining the UK Athletics LiRF (Leadership in Running Fitness) qualification and began offering small social, group runs on Sunday mornings – mostly for people training for the Bath Half Marathon.
In 2019 Run Bath became a membership led running group, and in the same year Angela gained her UK Athletics CiRF (Coach in Running Fitness) qualification and began offering running coaching for individuals.
Angela has completed hundreds of races including 4 marathons and over 30 half marathons (Bath Half 15 times and counting).
Angela says 'whatever your level of experience, its my aim to make everyone feel included and enjoy running. I started off running the 0 to 5k programme 14 years ago and now use my experience to help other runners work towards their own running and fitness goals'.
